Does the blocking feature on Hotmail really work?

Seems like no matter how many of these bastards I try to block, I'm still getting tons of spam. Today I blocked one and received two more from different addresses within 5 minutes.

I guess I'm better off deleting them.

Today, I started an experiment. I filled my Hotmail account with several files that totally filled my inbox up to its limit. I'm going to wait for a few days, and hope that all the spam emails get bounced back, so that the spammers decide my account is dead and remove me from their mailing lists.

BTW, I got an additional 10 spams a day after I registered MS Money. I'm pretty sure I clicked on "Don't share my information with MS partners" too. :|

overloading won't work. the return addresses of a lot of those are not valid addresses. (at least not the ones i get). they are always like oijsvnnoivsoi@oadohfd.com
