Does the Audigy have problems with 686B southbridge?

I had a live at one time and could not fix the problems with the newest bioses and drivers so I got rid of it.

My annoying AC97 sound sucks big time, and I'm either going to get the Audigy OEM or the TB SC for my older system that has the KT133A chipest.
 
Some have reported it, but I haven't seen too many instances of it. I haven't seen anything online that has been able to confirm it either. All the people I know who uses the Audigy with the 686b (including me) haven't experienced this problem yet. Then again, I never had any problems with the SBLive either.
