Does the ASUS A8N-VM CSM support pc2100?

I have a 2x512mb pair of pc2100 cosair memory, and I was wondering if it would work in the ASUS A8N-VM CSM motherboard. The mobo standard is pc3200 ddr dual channle.

mobo specifcation on: Memory

4 x 184-pin DIMM Sockets support max. 4GB
DDR400/DDR333/DDR266 ECC/ non-ECC,un-buffered memory
Dual Channel Architecture

Anyone know if this is possible for pc2100?

With newer boards you can use slower speed ddr2 like ddr2 667 in a ddr2 800 standard board.

well it should support pc2100 , as the 939 socket athlons all support it.

ddr266 = pc2100 btw.

no am2 boards can support pc2100, becuase the am2 based chips do not hve a DDR controller, they only have a DDR2 controller.
