does the AMD 751 chipset support SLOT A Thunderbird?

Yes, the AMD751 is the only north bridge to officiall support SlotA TBirds. Via's KX133 doesn't officially support the TBird (I suppose if you made a KT133 with a SlotA it might...though I don't know if that's even possible).

My Asus K7M said AMD Unkown 700Mhz though to my SlotA TBird 700, I had to do a BIOS flash before it recognized it as an Athlon.

I have no idea if that unkown hurts performance or not though.
 
Yes, but I belive it was in a way similar to how most BX boards supported coppermines. AKA Mostly, but with the occasional no.
