You have plenty of airflow for a single 780 ACX. If you buy a second get a reference to keep bottom card from overheating the top card. Even then you might need to add top exhaust.
Double sided tape will fix your cat problem. They hate that stuff. Besides your cat is setting there because its HOT. At the min you need to open that up. Heat is obviously pooling there.
