Does the Abit KT7A-Raid still require the latest 4n1 drivers with Windows XP in order ro perform well?

With windows 2000 I saw a huge difference when using the via 4n1 drivers, will this still be required with Windows XP?

Probably not. XP comes with via drivers built in. Not the most recent but i think they are 4.32? I could be wrong. Some people report problems by using newer via drivers and others see better running systems.

Choice is yours.

You don`t need too with XP ,I did I installed the latest VIA AGP 4.10 driver and 4 in 1 version 4.37 drivers,I had no problems got small increase in speed but it really is down to you if you install them or not,I just like having all the latest drivers for my PC.

Mine is running fine here. Win XP Professional, Abit KT7A-RAID, and no VIA 4n1 drivers.
