Does the 30d and the XTI take the same battery?

When I sell my xti should i give the buyer both batteries because if i can use the XTI battery on the 30d i would be glad

Yeah, those should be fine. Sterlingtek is another good place to buy from as well.

Yeah - the B-511 series batteries work for theD30; D60; 20D; 30D and 5D. Don't know about the 40D - haven't seen one yet. :)

OK - so I left out the P. No problem. I have owned all of the above cameras and the same batteries fit all. When the 20D came out, the BP-511A was born - longer life - more mah.

The 3rd party batteries are OK - and cheaper - but most bhave a lesser mah. I know becauee I have a couple of them as well.

The charger that came with the D60 is the best - a dual slot charger. Since the 20D, they are smaller single slot chargers.
