Does the 29160 work with win98 or just the 29160N?

I'd prefer the 29160 obviously, but on the adaptec site it only lists the 29160N as working straight out with win98 while the 29160 supports "SCO Open Server 5.05 Windows 95 and 98", whatever that is.

The 29160 works very well in 98se as that's what I'm using now. Your mobo must be pci2.1 compliant for the 64 bit card to fit the slot. It will not fit all pci slots. Probably not a problem for most current favorite motherboards. BTW SCO = Santa Cruz Operations Unix server software.

Any idea why they listed it in that manner instead of just saying supported in Win98 like the 29160 does? Do I have to install some SCO Open Server to get it to work, or does it work just fine?
