Does that Firefox tweak still work?

Does anyone know if http://www.tweakfactor.com/art...ks/firefoxtweak/4.html Firefox tweak works for the current version? If so, how do you apply it because I cannot find that .js file that this tweak specifies in the structure of the current FF release.

This tweak speeded up my browsing like crazy and I'd like to keep using it.

Yes it should.. the file doesn't exist by default, you need to create the file yourself. Just use notepad or any text editor to do that.

Where do you put the file?

Assuming Windows XP, it's C:\Document and Settings\[Profile name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\user.js

You could use the Chromedit extension to easily apply those tweaks. It is what I used since I didn't liek using notepad to do it.
