Spilled an entire large cup of a tea (20 oz+) on my couch. While it's wet, I've got it drying with fans and towels. But does it need to be cleaned up/scrubbed?

Tea stains very badly. I don't know what it takes to clean it up, but the more you get out, the better.

dilute it with water

use shampoo

use stain remover

get on your hands and knees and pray to your god.

It's a dark, brown couch. There's no stain. It's one of those couches that feels like blue jeans. So I'm not worried about the stain.

What I'm worried about is - if I don't care about the stain, does it still need to be scrubbed?

If theres no stain just clean with water. Esp if there was a lot of sugar in it.

If you're not worried about a stain just let it dry. And then scrape up the sugar residue. Simple.

Just set the couch on fire and next time learn use a sippy cup.

lol. I'm about to buy a few of these for my wife. She spills everything and we've got some new couches coming next week. The first time she spills on them I might punch her in the face. :awe:

I had to soak some beige carpet overnight in my best stain remover to get out an ice tea stain that dried.
