Does Target price guarantee in case something goes on sale later?

Bought an item right before xmas. Seems they are discontinues now and the remaining stock is 50% off. Will they price adjust? (If not, guess I'll just buy again and return with old receipt)

in situations like this if they don't... tell them you want to return (if still in valid period) then re-buy... obviously the hassle isn't worth it to them so they should say ok to the price adjustment.

if its a returnable item just return it and buy the item....if not then i think you are SOL

I believe you have 14 days to get the price adjusted, if I remember correctly.

I've done it at Target before... it was only about 5 days later though, so I guess it depends when you purchased it.

The item was dishes and they are allready opened, washed, and put away. I think they still had good stock, so buying again and returning with old receipt is possible, but more of a hassle (12 place settings).

They used to do that, but they often change their rules, so they might not any more.

It doesn't work on Holiday or clearance items.
