I avoid the sun most of the time because I'm a pale skinned Irish person.I like the Neutrogna spray on tan. There are several tricks to getting a good result with this stuff.
Exfoliate-I sit in a tub of steaming hot water and use a loofah and sea salt body scrub, that takes down dead skin cells,I use a rough towel to dry off with, all shaving/waxing gets done. The next morning I apply the tanning stuff, rubbing a towel lightly over my knees, elbows and ankles before the spray is totally dry, either wear gloves when applying the tanner or scrub your hands really fast afterwards.
Btw,I love the look of a deep tan but at age 47 I am glad that I didn't get into sun worshipping,my skin is still good,it's not hard and leather like or covered with the sun related fine wrinkles that many of my female age peers are dealing with now.
