Does sunscreen lotion expire?

I have a bottle lying around. I probably bought it about 2 or 3 years ago. Is it still effective?

Yes it expires, no it probably isn't effective unless you smear it on so thick that you can't even see your skin anymore. Generally it's only good for one season.
