does SpeedShift work on the GPU too?

Forgive my ignorance, for all I know my question might not even be valid, but does Intel's SpeedShift apply to the GPU too? You hear about how browsers (particularly Edge) really use the GPU a lot for better performance, and how web browsing is the use scenario where SpeedShift makes the biggest difference. I really don't know, I'm just curious (God knows Intel could use some help in the graphics performance department)
 
I don't the the exact mechanism, or if it has a name, but you can adjust the IGP clocks, they are variable, between the min and max specs.
