... You're watching your own DVDs? Kinky....

Yeah, any respectable DVD player will have all aspect ratios available.

watching my own dvd's?
i need sonic dvd to put movies that i edit onto a dvd.
i just filmed and edited a film project made for a class, and i wanted to put it on a dvd with menus, and MyDVD does menus. the thing is, i filmed the movie in widescreen.
when my friend burned a divx movie he had onto a dvd with MyDVD, the image was stretched to fit the tv. so it just ended up being a fullscreen with the video looking stretched.

Don't worry about Nebor, he makes his own "personal" movies with his boyfriends. They include many household appliances such as washing machines, blenders, food processors, etc.

PowerDVD supports WideScreen DVD's. Get that instead.
