Does Solaris 8 x86 work on asus K7V

Me again with another...

I would really like to use Solaris on my asus k7v, but am having trouble. Has anybody successfuly installed it on a Asus K7V AMD?

my specs:

Asus K7V Motherboard
800 mhz Amd slot A
256 ram
20 gig western digital
pci video card. ATI all in wonder
Sony rw drive
belkin network card
 
I have yet to see Solaris x86 even run on anything related to AMD. Heck, it won't even run on my i810 Dell at work.
