does socket 5 cpu fit in a socket 7 motherboard?

I have a pentium 133 cpu in socket 5 and I was wondering if I can put it in a socket 7 motherboard. I think I can, but I just want to make sure. Thanks.

I don't think they are pin compatible.

i do not think there was much difference in the socket compatibility. The only thing was maybe some added pics, but older socket 5 still worked.

It will work no problem. Socket 7 was just a small step up from Socket 5. They are 100% compatible, so go ahead and put your old 133 in a new board.
