The only mention I could find on AT was a guy who fried it (by severe overvolting). Has anyone on here actually succeeded? If so, how hard is it? I have a steady hand and a spare slocket, but I don't want to shell for a 1.0A unless I have some confidence it's not another 200 Mpg carburetor. If it's legit, can someone explain to me how shorting a couple pins changes the voltage coming into the core. Maybe the last question would be better for HT.

Well it works... but see the problem is its not certain if it could be replicated by every person even if they did it the way described. Some work... some doesnt. Sometimes its the mobo... sometimes its the slocket. People are finding different ways to do it... and some found out that you dont even need as many pins as previously described. I know it works on the BX133 and the CUSL2-C... thats pretty much all i know. You could find more info at the forums at overclockers.com.
