Does SMP Help Quake 3 Arena that much in Win2k????

Hey ya'll. I was wondering if running a dual processor setup with Windows 2000 installed will help Quake 3 Arena performance?

Nothing I have read points to it helping out that much. Then again, in most cases the video card is the bottleneck.
