Does SLI now allow Dual Monitor?

I have never done SLI because of the fact that they would not allow Dual monitor. Has this now changed? If so, How? Also if so, Could you describe how they got it to work or why it would NOT work before?

Also note: Toggling something is just simply not an option. So If I have to turn off one monitor to get the benefits of SLI to play a game, then it still does not support Dual monitor in my opinion.

Yes, SLI has supported dual monitor since the v180.x driver release in Vista and Win7. You're able to set the target monitor for SLI in 3D mode in the control panel. No toggling - it happens on the fly..

It's possible the second screen will go black while running a full screen game on the other monitor, but it's never happened to me.

Multi-monitor gaming is also supported in the small number of games that support it.

The other monitor gets screwed up when i play a game. For example if I play Starcraft (thank god I have SLI!) the other monitor will go to a distorted dark unreadable 640x480 kind of screen. For crysis and other new games it just goes black.

If your game changes the resolution/color depth that will happen regardless with dual monitors, it's not specific to SLI.

It shouldn't go black on other games, though. Something is wrong with your setup.
