most of the time when people on these boards try to make fun of chinese accents, it ends up sound (to me) like scooby doo.

"rikes it a rot"....
(looking for more examples)

Funny, I never heard Scooby Doo say fly lice. In any case, die in a pool of acid.

I think you guys have your accents mixed up. If Chinese people can't pronounce R sounds ("flied lice") than why would they say "riked it a rot"?

People with Catonese Chinese accents have a hard time with R sounds, thus the joke about "flied lice."

Koreans and Japanese are just the opposite and pronounce L sounds as R sounds, i.e. "riked it a rot."
