Does SBC DSL have newsgroups?

there are but there's nothing but porn. no access to music or anything worthwhile. SBC cut it out of their newsgroups to twart piracy.
 
Piracy??? Yeah, and they outsourced customer service overseas to improve the local economy.😉 Back to the original question. If you have to ask, then you can forget it. When downloading from newsgroups, my goal is to connect to multiple servers and download whatever parts they may have. SBC's servers often give me nothing because almost all groups are missing.
