Does SATA play nicely with PATA?

I think the answer is no, but I'd like to know for sure... can I have a HDD of each type in a rig with an Abit NF7-S rev2 mobo?

Of course they play nicely 🙂

In the BIOS just set which device you want to boot to. You may have to chose SCSI to boot from some onboard SATA controllers.

I'm not sure about the mobo, but generally SATA and PATA work fine together.

EDIT: WobbleWobble beat me to it.

If I could bump your post ahead of mine, I would 😛
