Question Does Ryzen Balanced Power Plan still exist? (Zen 3)

I put together a new build yesterday, using a Gigabyte AORUS Pro AC and AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU. I've been installing the primary system drivers, including AMD chipset drivers. Based on things I've read recently, I was expecting to find a "AMD Ryzen Balanced" option in Power Options. Like this:

Unfortunately, it's not there! I am 100% sure I installed the proper driver for this.
One friend tells me it's not a thing anymore (ref ).
Can someone confirm this?
Thanks.

From what I remember from looking into a year ago, it's only the 1st gen Ryzen CPUs that use that feature due to some kind of Windows/Ryzen workaround.

Even after installing the AMD chipset drivers, I don't believe that power profile is available on my 2700X system, but it is on my son's 1700X system.

My 2700X definitely had them, I haven't checked recently. I'll look later.
I'm not convinced that they make a massive difference in day to day use.

I remember it having it initially, but at certain AMD chipset driver version, it ended. I think the main reason for the AMD balanced plan was Microsoft's scheduler compatibility with Ryzen CPUs, but I believe they fixed it for all CPUs besides the first gen.

I'd have to go back and read all the AMD chipset update notes again, but that's what I remember offhand from looking into why my 2700X no longer had the Ryzen Power Plan after a Windows 10 update.

It's my first time using/setting up a computer with an AMD processor, so I want to make sure I get things right!

If you are looking at the CPU running at it's most efficient mode, the 3000 series and up can be set in "Eco mode". Depending on the motherboard manufacturer, you either set in the BIOS or in the Ryzen Master software.

There was a user here who just posted their results from running their 5000 series that way, and it was pretty impressive. I can't remember what thread it was in, but I try to look around and post a link to it here.

Edit: Here is the post I mentioned above:

My 2700x still has it... Offhand, I can't remember the big issue, but it was a problem because I remember having to go through the plan settings to get it right.
