Does running RC5 ruin your CPU? (edited)

I can prove that running the client prevents thermal stress on the CPU. Unfortunately, I can't prove whether it is benificial to prevent thermal stress.

I just got a reply from stefan who agreed that it was overclocking that killed his chip. But he said that if he hadn't been running RC5, the chip would have lasted another half a year.

running RC5 DOES cause my hardware to not last as long as it should...












because I have to sell my slightly old components to make way for new ones to get my keyrate UP!!!
