Ron Paul, born August 20, 1935, will be 77 years old for the 2012 election, 8 years older than RR when he was elected, who was the oldest president in history. The fact that he thinks he has the vigor to handle one of the toughest 24/7/365 jobs in the world just tells us how egotistically nuts he really is... It's not the kind of job where you get to take a nap if you need one...

The guy you can't see cause he exists out of the approved political range of Joe Biden to Mitt Romney.
Keep voting for them, its working grand.

This Ron dude is not-electable!! Even if he was 40 years younger he would still be not-electable!!

What does that even mean? "Not-electable". It doesn't mean anything, apparently he is electable since he's been elected, and re-elected many times. People sound like idiots spouting "he's not-electable!!!" when it is patently false.

How is it patently false?? He is not electable as a presidential candidate!
Are you that dense that you had to be spoon fed the obvious.

Prove to me that he is a viable presidential candidate?

He'd be a better man if he told his worshipers to donate their money to charity than waste their money on his campaign.

The guy is in much better shape than John McCain was when he was running. Plenty of people were ready to elect him. (not me of course)
He jogs 3 miles a day and bikes 10.
He's an ex-doctor afterall.

No, he has zero chance of beating Obama. You might not realize it from internet forums, but his policies are spectacularly unpopular with Americans as a whole.

He wants to basically end the war on drugs. I agree with this, but it's political suicide.
He doesn't believe in evolution. (lolwut)
He wants to abolish Medicare. (instant political death)
He wants to abolish Social Security. (instant political death)
He wants to return to the gold standard or something similar. (maybe not instant political death, but a horrible idea)
etc, etc.

He mixes a few good ideas with a whole load of completely insane and unworkable ones. He's free to hold these because he never has to worry about actually being elected and so we don't have to worry about suffering the consequences of his awful policies. If he were actually in a position where he might hold real power, he would moderate and abandon the unwavering stance that people admire him so much for. (either that, or just be a completely ineffective president)

I agree. It would be interesting to see Mr Paul win the GOP POTUS nomination. I would like to see a GOP run who isn't another NObama. Mr Paul would offer a different set of solutions for the voter to choose from.

I at least think Obama / Paul debate would be pretty entertaining because their views are actually pretty different.

Who the hell wants to watch an Obama / Romney debate?
Yawn...

The voters who want to continue kicking the can right off a steep cliff. Guess they like NAFTA/GATT, China's favored nation status, and don't want to see the FED audited or Glass Steagal reinstated. Maybe in four years we can even have a North American Union alongside the developing AU and the disintegrating EU.

He has a better chance at winning compared to McCain, who is the biggest zero on the face of the earth. I dont understand how some of these people get elected except through brainwashing and bribery.

It would help if every state had its primary on the same day. I'm tired of Iowa picking candidates.

I voted for Obama and will vote for Paul if given the chance. I think teabaggers are trash and Rand Paul is a looney toon. I'm in a spiteful mood about this 2012 election. I mostly will vote for Ron Paul just to watch his own political party murder him. Then we all know America is pretty much dead. It was a good run fellas. I'm sure whatever we get next we will still have television and SUVs. Won't be bad at all.

For once you can feel good about voting for the biggest dick on the ballot!

Ron Jeremy: Finally a candidate who is already finished fucking everybody over.

Ron Paul - now is this the same man who decries the government; yet has his hand out for money from the government...

\must be nice to be a "libertarian".
