I have a epox 8k7a with t-bird 1.2 ghz overclocked max to 1466 ghz. Cant break 1500. It is an axiar Y with a gladiator. Was wondering if buying a better power supply would help with overclocking? Have generic power supply right now. OR did i hit my peak.

Yes it certainly does matter. My Athlon 1.33Ghz wouldn't overclock until I replaced my 300w Antec PSU.

Look at your bios and see what your line voltage is at on the +5 volt. It definitly matters .
