GH is more a rhythm talent. Rhythm talent doesn't equal musical talent. GH requires similar skills to DDR except using hand/eye coordination vs foot/eye coordination. DDR is probably physically more difficult also. Either way, just because one is good at these games doesn't mean they will be good musically.

It also requires a form of sight-reading, which from what I've read is also linked to mathematical talent. And yes, it doesn't mean they're good musically in general, but it's something.
