Does plagiarizing full articles merit a ban?

The link was removed but it's this one.
I doubt it was locked because of plagiarism. More likely because it was a flame fest.

That does appear to be the case. The member in question is still posting, but so far no additional plagiarism and their posts since the mod locked their thread have been slightly less inflammatory.

I'm less bothered about the plagiarism issue this morning. Not totally satisfied by the member's response on the plagiarism, but at least he finally acknowledged that he did plagiarize.

If that's not textbook trolling, I dunno what is.

I wonder who he was before he was banned...
