does php nuke only run on apache servers?

It might use certain php code that only runs on Apache. You are just looking for a CMS to run on IIS?


Edit: I read that as why did it. It says it is one of the things you need on their site.

phpnuke should run on any server that supports php. You may need to change some headers or something though.

Correct. Although, I would recommend against PHP Nuke however. It's really not as good as everyone makes it out to be. Too bad I cant offer you any alternatives other than write your own, but that's a pain in the neck.
