does paypal put a hold on transfers....

Log into email this morning....


I get 4 emails from paypal.


Some dude cleared my account! Luckliy, it happened only an hour prior.

Looked at the info, they got everything from my checking and that the transfer went through. I call my bank, they say that there is no record of it.

Does Paypal hold money before it is transfered? I put a dispute in so hopefully all is fixed. What sucks is that all my money is in my savings and my landlord only accepts checks. Since that account is essentially empty, I have no money. I guess I can get a money order or bank check, but dam, this is a pain in the ass.

Isn't rent usually due on the 1st?
Oh, and that sucks. I have my Paypal linked to my checking.
I didn't really think about someone hacking Paypal to suck my checking dry.

yeah, but it gets mailed and the landlord does not care unless it's 2 weeks late.
