Does P45 chipset support DDR2-533?

Got some leftover DDR2-533 and was wondering if the P45 chipset unofficially supports it. I think most of the official specifications from motherboard manufacturers state DDR2-667 and up.

CPU I would use with it would be a leftover E5200 with 800MHz FSB, so there may also be a strap issue. If so, what about the E6300 with 1066MHz FSB?

Board I was considering: Foxconn ELA

I think the lowest I tried in my P45 was PC2-667. If the 533 can OC to 667, it SHOULD work though.

I just booted with 200FSB and ram at 533 no problem, should work fine.

Mine booted @DDR2-533 with an E2140. I think the sticks' SPDs have something to do it as well.

It's actually dependent on CPU's default FSB, at least to a point.

You cannot run lower than 1:1, which mean CPU's no higher than 266 FSB for DDR2-533 to work (at least without OCing it).
With 200 FSB CPUs in some BIOSes i believe due to the NB strap in use, you don't get DDR2-533 though; it'll be DDR2-667.
Some BIOS might be able to force lower.

That would only be due to SPD settings, or your CPU being 333 MHz FSB.
Or a crap BIOS.

You can definitely do DDR2-533 with a 266 FSB or lower CPU on P5Qs.
I'm quite certain it's the case for all P45s to the best of my knowledge.

Actually, on every single Intel chipset since P965, i'm quite sure it's been doable.

Even on my P35 DFI where their documentation stated no DDR2-533...they had a ratio right in there for it
