Does P3 Stepping really matter? cb0 vs cc0

Just sold a P3 700e @1000mhz 1.65 (default) that was a cB0 and would run 1100mhz @1.75

Draw your own conclusion... (one of kind maybe???)

Bartman 39 is correct, it is all luck of the draw with your chip,it really only mattered between cA2 or cBO.

cCO will definately overclock better that a cBO. I think this stepping was supposed to get intel to 1.13 mhz on the p3 :)

my ca2 550e can go 850mhz at low voltage/temps...can push it any farther cuz of FSB limit

cc0's are awesome trust me

anything else is luck of draw

99.5% overclock @133fsb minimum for me with cc0 stepping ;)

tested over hundreds of chips
