Does p182 require any cable extensions?

I'm putting together a computer with a Gigabyte DS3 mobo and a Corsair HX620 PSU, but my p182 hasn't arrived yet.

Can the p182 owners here tell me if I'll need to order any cable extensions due to the size of the case and the fact that the PSU is located at the bottom? That way I can get those ordered before my case arrives. Thanks.

Didn't have a problem with mine with a 520HX, except for an SATA power cable not being long enough for the DVDRW. Fixed it by using a 4pin to SATA adapter and later bought an extension.

The 620HX I believe comes with 3 of the SATA cable modules though. If I had a third, I think it would have fit fine. I was trying to get an HD thats mounted on the bottom and the DVDRW connected to the same cable.

Remember to route the 4pin and 24pin cables through the back though!

LoL!

Sorry, that's not my computer or my room.

I just browsed Google Images and looked around for a P180/182 with a Corsair HX620 PSU... ;)

I used an 8pin EPS12V extension with my P5B-Deluxe as it was a hard stretch without it. Allowed for better routing. Not sure about the DS3 though.

The P182= souped up P180 and depending on the location of certain connectors you will want an extension cable...the opening for cables in this case sucks

I know I own and have heavily modded the case for my WCing....the P180 is the way t ogo and cut a small hole for cables and remove that stupid lower fan/divider(cant tell you how often I cut my hand)..I placed a YL(sanded it down some to get it to fit in the front of the lower HDD cage

the cables on the HX series PSU are kinda short
