Does opened Gatorade go bad?

If you live, then we will know. But I've never had bad Gatorade that didn't have stuff floating in it.

Liquid never goes bad. All those expiration dates you see on juice and milk are just a scam to get you to buy more.

A nice isotonic solution with lots of sugar. I don't think it's likely to be a comfy environment for bacteria at all. Man up and drink it down. Make sure you wash it down with some curdled milk so you can blame that when you throw up so hard it is coming from your intestines...

Just boil it for 10 minutes; you could add some berries, maybe some other fruit and get a stew going.

OK, so just for a lark, I Googled this, and according to the Gatorade FAQ, unopened Gatorade has a shelf life of 9 months, while an open container should be refrigerated and drunk within a week. Which, quite frankly, seems like bullshit to me, because I never refrigerate Gatorade (I prefer it room temperature, as I like to drink it fast, and cold beverages are hard for me to chug), and I've left open containers out for weeks and consumed them just fine. But, better safe than sorry, you should pitch it and go buy more, as your inability to search even a simple term like "gatorade shelf life" on Google indicates an individual likely to succumb to any ill effects of consuming expired sports beverages.

Well it doesn't need to be refrigerated, true, it shouldn't be left out opened for too long. The big point is most people drink from the bottle. Even if you cap it and put it in the fridge, even just a bit of bacteria left in a water and sugar rich environment that's not acidic, will flourish like mad.
Hell, leave a bottle of water you've drank out of, with water left in the bottle, and cap it. Come back in a month. Look disgusting? Most likely.
However, gatorade I never not finish. Any sports drink, if its like one of those large bottles, will be gone in a few days to a week at most.

Don't know about Gatorade, but I know fruit juice goes bad.
When I worked at a hotel as a summer job, I found an almost-full jug of grape juice in the luggage storage room. The room is just off the hotel and not exposed to sunlight, but it's the same temperature as outside.
God knows how many months it had been sitting there, but it had white floaties on the surface. Ewwww...
