This is fairly new to me as well, with ie 8 and win7, probably 70% of sites that h ave a mobile version directs me to that site instead. I have no clue what changed this, but it's been 3 or 4 months maybe... it's pretty obnoxious

If you have a Creative sound card installed, this might help.

From that link:

When the Creative AutoUpdate software is installed it add the text “Creative AutoUpdate v1.40.03″ (where the numbers at the end refer to the specific version installed) to your computer’s “user-agent” information. If you look closely, you’ll see that the text includes the letters “PDA” (AutoUpdate). Many websites see the “PDA” and assume you are using a mobile browser. To fix the problem, we need to tell your computer to not add the Creative AutoUpdate text to your user-agent string.

Manual steps:

1. Open regedit.
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform
3. Delete the key that contains “Creative AutoUpdate”.
4. Close and re-open Internet Explorer.

Now why the fuck does some auto updating software need to change your browser's User-Agent header? My God Creative has gone to shit.

What's more disturbing is the fact that you're visiting the Olive Garden website. *sneakers*

We got gift cards from there for Christmas. I wanted to see where they were located, and what was on the menu.

My family's literally off-the-boat Italian and they like the place. Mind you, they don't call it Italian food, but for mass market American, they will go there.

It's a casual dining restaurant, and they're pretty good at it. I'd say the best of the "Italian" chains.

Their way of reasserting dominance and relevance in the computing world, one misdirected browser and website at a time.

Yeah, its not that bad. Plus if I had a gift card, I'd go.
