Does old laptop takes 5400 rpm HD ?

HI guys ,
I have a hp zt 1145 laptop .. i am thinking of upgrade my currently 20G to 40G. But i dont know whether it able to support 5400 rpm Hd ( since nowadays easy to get 5400 rpm HD ) ? ANyone knows about this ?

yes, it can even support a 7200rpm drive.

I am not sure on this but my 8.4 GB HDD was 5400, in fact I don't even know what spindle speed they used before 5400 RPM. You should be good.:thumbsup:

hopefully .... cause my friends who bought the same model as me, he bought a 5400rpm HD , after installing it for sometimes his laptop always hang. I Just wonder was the HD giving him the problem.
