Does Nvidia have anything to compete in the $130-$150 range?

ATI has the 9600XT ($130) and 9800 128bit ($150). It seems to me the first good Geforce is the 5900XT at $175. What about below that, do they all suck compared to ATI?

nVidia is just plain not competitive price-for-price below the 6800 nu. At least until the 6600 & 6600GT AGPs come out.

Ya, the 6600s are $130, but not in AGP yet. As far as I know the 5700U are worse than the 5900XTs and more expensive. I don't see how the 5700 can compete unless it's at least as good as a 9600XT.

You sure the 6600 will be out in AGP ever?

5700u is a great card, but not for the price, there were some brand spankin enw BFG 5700u's on chumbo.com not too long ago. That's a pretty decent deal.

I would just go with the Radeon 9800 Pro or a 9700 Pro. The 5000 series of nVidia cards should probably be avoided.

nope, they own the >80 dollar market and 250-400 dollar market tho.

9700pro refurb or 9800pro will be much better.
