If they don't, then why don't they? Who gives a s*** about 1-3 FPS?
It would make games that use the w-buffer look better as well as some older titles that use the z-buffer--manx tt would look better (no shadow flickering) as would Prince of Persia 3D. I remember a 24 bit z-buffer was insufficient for PoP3D when I last played it on a GeForce 6800GT. Matrox used to use a fixed 32 bit z-buffer and a float 32 bit z-buffer provides even more precision. And 3dfx used to use a float 32 bit z-buffer with the Voodoo5.
I'm going to install Rayman 3 soon and if it doesn't look as good as it did on a GeForce FX, then I'm going to be angry.
