Does not getting a supporting deposition in 30 days mean the ticket can be dismissed in NY?

Is it still true in New York that if the officer fails to send you a supporting deposition within 30 days of him receiving it, that you can get the ticket dismissed?

My wife got a ticket that I feel was unfairly given to her so I had her request a supporting deposition. It's been well over 30 days and still no deposition. Does this mean we can have the ticket dismissed or is that no longer true?

Thanks.

I guess noone knows. Is there some lawyer I can ask who won't charge me $100 just to ask this question? My wife has court on Monday. :(

Went to court tonight. The one guy, District Attorney maybe? Wanted her to settle for a $150 parking ticket. My wife told him she hadn't received a supporting deposition. Went to the judge and told him this. Waited about an hour, he called her up and told her it was dismissed and she was free to go. :)

I don't think this works with State Troopers but this ticket was rather odd and I'm guessing the officer realized he didn't have a leg to stand on. Don't know, don't care, all I know is we weren't parted from $150. :)
