I dont' think it has hardware support for DX9, but you still can, and should, install DX9 on the system.

It's DX7 hardware, but its drivers are DX9 compatible.

the Nforce 2 IGP is a DX7 class part, it's a cut down Geforce 2 MX, although as CheesePoofs mentioned you should still install DX9 on your system even through your video card doesn't support many of the newer features you still need it for compatibility and bug fix reasons.

it's a geforce 2, it runs quake 3 well, and maybe COD at lower settings but definitely no dx9 support.
