Does newegg stack shipping?

If by stack you mean if you order two parts at $6 shipping per part, will you be charged $12 (even though they are in the same box).

Then Yes.

I just orderd a bunch of stuff, and was charged $27 in shipping I will double check my receipt tonight.

slunk is right. when i have ordered shipping goes down with whatever you get. unless it has to be seperate boxes. like if you ordered a case and a bottle of nails or something there would be individual charges. but like a mobo and vid card probably not.

Many vendors use shipping as a profit center. They have to find some way to make money, if their prices are low. Few use the actual shipping cost, not matter how many items are added to the order.

They DO stack shipping. This is C&P from their email confirmation.

CASE ENLGHT|MID 300W EN-7237OX3 AMD (Qty=1,Price=45.00)
MB AMD761|6P2D EP-8K7A W/S EPOX (Qty=1,Price=130.00)
FD 1.44MB|MITSUMI #D359M3 (Qty=1,Price=9.00)

Subtotal:184.00
TAX:.00
Shipping and Handling Charge**:26.00
Total:210.00

Shipping charge is $15+$5+$6, those made up to %26. :|

They stack depending on what you buy, so technically all of you are right in a way. Put a whole bunch of random things in your cart, and the calculated shipping will not add up to the sum of their individual rates. However if you buy one or 2 things or many of the same thing, Newegg stacks the shipping. All I can say is Try it for yourself...you'll see!

I remember reading that if you ordered a lot of stuff, you can give newegg a call and ask them to reduce the shipping charges.

And have you all ever looked at some of the auctions on $bay, where people will blatantly overcharge for shipping? Like memory auctions where shipping for one stick of memory is $13, multiple orders not combinable to reduce shipping? It's pretty lame, but I guess some people will go for it.

They don't completely stack cause i threw a buttload of stuff in a cart one time and the shipping was way lower than little $5-10 shipping charges on each item added up.

At least newegg tells you up front exactly how much shipping they will add to the price so it's not tough to figure out the overall costs. With their dirt cheap prices, I don't mind if they stack their shipping.
