Does Newegg ever give out tracking numbers?

Does Newegg ever give out tracking numbers? I have ordered a second time from them. And each time they say I will get a tracking number but it never happens.

I get them every time. Sometimes the day the package arrives but that's only because the ship so fast.

I usually get mine after they arrive, which renders them useless. I'm not complaining about 1-day shipping though.

I usually get the tracking number the morning after day I place the order. I usually live 2 to 3 days away from the warehouse though...so they have plenty of time to e-mail the tracking number. Also, you can see the tracking info (if it's available) if you go to your NewEgg account and check the order status.

~95% of the time the email with tracking numbers arrives 12-1am the night the package ships.

I live in central Virginia the Egg has a warehouse/shipping center in New Jersey. If I order a product that is available in that shipping point, the web site shipping info never catches up with the product landing on my front porch. I wouldn't worry about tracking numbers until a shipped product doesn't show up in a timely manner.

How odd. I live in Northern Virginia, which is closer, and I always get a tracking number several days before my package shows up. It always has to go through the UPS hub in Laurel, MD, so it's going to get scanned regardless.

I live in RI and newegg gives me 1-day shipping for the majority of my orders so yeah, I don't get the tracking number until I usually already have the item in my hands. Unless, of course, it's shipped from City of Industry, CA. In that case, I get the tracking number a bit before the package arrives. Newegg is so darn fast usually that I generally am not worried about tracking numbers.

If they don't email it to you, you may have some luck going to your account on the website and finding your order there.

It's always listed in your order details when it ships.......there's always a tracking number there. So even if you don't get your tracking no. email, simply checking the order status on the 'Egg's website will give it to you.

That's exactly my experience with Newegg. Newegg has a five-step order process. I get emails at each step. The last couple of emails contain the Tracking Number, and you can always get it on their web site.

I always get them.

Either your mail server or software on your PC is probably falsely discarding the emails as spam. Try whitelisting: info@newegg.com

Well, I believe I spoke too soon. NewEgg sent me an email with the tracking numbers this morning at 3:00 AM. Appreciate all the responses.

No doubt about that. But the reason I posted in the first place is because, as stated, I never got a tracking number the first time I ordered from NewEgg.

Depending on your email account, just putting the web address
info@newegg.com into your email address book, will make sure
it does not get marked as Spam.

I'm like some of the others above. When the Egg ships from their NJ location, I usually get the package the next day and may not get the email with the tracking until later that day or even the day after I received the item(s) - kind of useless at that point but I'm not unhappy. You can always go into your account on the web site and look at your invoice/order. The tr.no. will usually show up there pretty quick after it's available. It is a highlighted number just above the "Items" block.
