Does Netflix Close on Weekends?

The usual turnaround for me is one day. If I place a disc in the mail on, say, a Wednesday, I'll receive notification that it was received on Thursday. The next movies in my queue are shipped the same day, and I'll receive 'em the next day. Efficient.
However, if I return a disc on a Friday, Netflix doesn't report it as received until the following Monday. (And with this being Labor Day, I'm sure that'll be pushed back until Tuesday.)
So, does Netflix ship any movies on a Saturday, or do they shut down on weekends?

USPS is open on Sat.
 
Netflix does seem to shutdown on the weekends. Blockbuster actually seems to be working on the weekends. During my month trial, I had stuff sent out on Saturday.

Yes, but mail doesn't move between depots on weekends. It's the same way in Canada.
 
of course they do. they want to make a profit, so they have to keep labor costs low. i am confident that their facitlities are open M-F to save labor costs
