Does my motherboard support Cel 1.0A GHz?

I really don't know much about the motherboard, just the fact that it's a Cognac and uses Intel 810 chipset. It supports Cel 800MHz, but don't know if it can handle the 1.475 volt requirement.

The latest BIOS release note mentioned "support for Tualatin processors". Don't know if that applies to the motherboard or the BIOS or both.

Hope someone can help...

On this page it seems to imply that it maxes out at a 533MHz Celeron "classic."

We had a HP with a Celeron 400 at work, and something bad happened to it because the motherboard and RAM were toast. I stuck a cheap Biostar M6VLR board in there with a 1.1A Celeron. This motherboard's only $50 if you are looking for something faster. I got a bit frustrated with the HP chassis, however... very hard to work with, a wimpy 100W power supply, and I had to take off the ejectors from the memory slots on the new board, and use a small heatsink because of the chassis design. If you anticipate working on the inside of the PC from time to time, getting a nice little Inwin V500 with a 180W power supply would save you some hair down the road 😀
