CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core E2180 OC'ed at 2.7 GHz
GPU: gt 630
RAM: 3GB Kingston DDR2
MOBO: ASRock 945GCM-S
PSU: POWERLOGIC ATX-500W
HDD: 500GB HITACHI 7200RPM

does my cpu bottleneck my gpu because in youtube users that have a gt 630 have a 30+ fps while me has only 20+ even if I oc my cpu......

you can't always trust "youtube users" to give you something trustworthy,

but, even if you overclock your CPUs, it is still clearly slower than something like an i3,

also, 30, 20FPS on what?

and the GT 630 (440/430) can have some significant differences, I think both DDR3 and DDR5 models exist, and clock variation... so you may not be comparing the exact same card.

My CPU similar to yours only clocked higher (3.0) was bottlenecked by a Geforce 640 in most games. Get a faster video card (at least Geforce 660 class).

At 3 gigs a e2160/e2180 won't be a bottleneck....the 2.7 is a very odd speed for that 2180 even though naturally the e2180 should easily do 3.2. So really I'd suggest update to a better mobo that can support the potential overclock and don't worry about cpu bottlenecking your vid card. Even these days low end vid cards are minor rebadges of the same older cards from the past generations with minor updates.

no bottleneck Id say @ 3Ghz . Listen to the gurus, better to start from scratch. get the base which is mobo, slap on some 30 dollar 8GB kit cpu 150 dollars and your set. perhaps a new PSU and a SSD to boot. gl
