I have a Sony-Ericsson K610i mobile phone.
Literally about an hour ago it started going through a cycle of booting up, the screen turning white then going off, and so forth. The red light on top of the phone occasionally turns on. From the symbols on the home screen it appears to be receiving/downloading a message and sending one as well. I haven't told it to send any messages.
I never have time to open or delete the incoming message in my inbox, but it appears to be some kind of data message, not just a plain text message. The message in my outbox is to a mobile number that I don't recognise (it doesn't show up as a name of someone in my phonebook). The one in my inbox appears to be from a friend, whos also has a sony-ericsson phone, and the preview says "Fact of the day", but I have no idea if this is just an innocent message because I cant get hold of him! Most worryingly, the text above one of the start keys is now "Send Me" - I have never seen that before.
I'm not 100% sure its a virus as its had water damage in the past, when it went a bit mad then after a few hours of drying out on the radiator started working normally again. That was a few months ago, and until now it has ran since without a problem.
I now have the phone switched off because I'm worried about what its doing! Especially if it does have a virus and is sending messages or something. If anyone has any idea what to do, or know how to fix this, or know whether it is just a simple fault please let me know. Any help is appreciated!
