Does MSI P6NGM FiH motherboard support linux

I am looking for linux o/s installation (ubuntu 7.10) on the motherboard msi P6NGM FiH. (intel core 2 duo E6550 cpu 2 GB ram)
Did anyone try this combination. Also the nvidia drivers that i received in package are for windows XP / vista.

where can i download them?

Any help is appreciated.

I installed Ubuntu on my 650i - can't say about your chipset for sure but I didn't have to do much hunting for drivers period. Only thing I would suggest as far as graphics drivers go is to get Envy to install the graphics drivers - the default ones Ubuntu uses will work fine but don't have good resolution support. Think default windows graphic drivers.
