I got the Phenom II X4 965BE and a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-SP2 board from microcenter for dirt cheap.

The thing only OCs from 3.4 to 3.6GHz stable at stock voltage. I cranked the voltage up to 1.52V on a cool night and it was blue screening on prime in a minute.
I'm running a Corsair 430VX PSU.
So is the motherboard primarily the culprit?
