Does most ATX PSU's fit in most cases?

The only time you need to worry is with the very small cases (mATX and smaller) which take smaller PSU's. Those, typically, come with PSU's in them so that you don't need to worry.

Good rule of thumb, ATX PSU will fit into ATX case... Hence the standards.
